About Tanghulu
Introduction to Tanghulu The magical origin of Bingtanghulu, also known as candied hawthorn or sugar-coated fruit, lies in its long-standing history as a traditional Chinese delicacy. Its roots can be traced back to ancient China, dating back several centuries. According to legend, Bingtanghulu first originated in northern China, initially as a simple treat made by coating fruit with rock sugar. Over time, people began adding multiple layers of sugar glaze to the fruit, eventually creating the classic Bingtanghulu we know today.
